OK...This is a known problem in 2004. The Republicans knew that there were problems with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2004. The Republicans had the majority in Congress and had the presidency in 2004. Why then, did they not pass a bill(s) to handle the problem? Why did they not set up a regulatory committee? Perhaps it is because many of their friends were making a killing off of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac????
It's this kind of baseless and personal attack on someone with an opposing opinion that gridlocks progress. You want to debate the facts...fine. You have an opposing opinion that you feel strongly about, make your case. But spewing your own parroting and inane dribble gets us nowhere.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson

What the hell is Page13? Sounds like the back page that no one reads. Page13! Why not page 69? At least that sounds fun!
How about FrontPage news. That's where most of this gets copied from anyway.
Stop parroting other people and interjecting your own inane dribble.
Get a life!

Thanks, Ralph - well said.

My, my, my.... Jealousy is an ugly thing!
Wow, I've got supporters? I don't know what to say.
Those who want the usual story can read the front page. Those who want the rest of the story (aka the real story) can continue to read page13.
Thanks for the compliment Anonymous (2)...though I'm sure you didn't intend it that way.
