The Story of - Communist - Stuff

Some teachers and school districts are using this video in our schools; using your tax dollars to promote the ideas contained within.

The video is titled, "The Story of Stuff".

The makers of the video, The Tides Foundation, are yet another one of several organizations hell bent on destroying the current US economic system for a more "greener" version. This is your country now; this is Obama's America.

Songs by school children in praise of the Lord Obama and now this garbage??

No, no indoctrination going on here.

ACORN Goes Stupid Nuts

...by suing the filmmakers who exposed them for tax fraud and encouraging child sex trafficking.

James O'Keefe, the filmmaker who has been releasing his work in pieces on BigGovernment.com, Hannah Giles who posed as the prostitute, and Andrew Breitbart, owner of the website, are all named in the lawsuit.

When asked how he felt about the potential legal fight, O'Keefe said,
"Bring it on...If they want to equate sex trafficking of young girls with videotaping someone without their consent, that's their moral prerogative, but that just shows you how low they are."

During the discovery phase of the lawsuit ACORN will have additional light shed on their shady organization. This plays right into the film maker's plans - to expose the community organizers.

The first rule of hole digging - when you find yourself in one, stop digging. This rule is apparently lost on the wizards who run ACORN. (psst, see Wade Rathke)

Hoeffel's Job Compromises Governor Run

In a statement released earlier today, Montgomery County GOP Chairman Bob Kern's asked for Joe Hoeffel to resign his position as chairman of the county's Board of Elections. This comes on the heels of Hoeffel's announcment yesterday that he will join an already crowded Democrat primary field for governor.

"Joe Hoeffel chairs the Montgomery County Board of Elections and can act in that capacity to advantage his candidacy for Governor. He needs to step down immediately and allow for an alternate to be appointed in his place", Kerns said.

Kerns also pointed out that Joe didn't do this last year when he was on the ballot, as an alternate delegate for Hillary Clinton at the DNC convention.

Historically, Montco Commissioners have resigned these positions when their names are on the ballot. The President of the Court of Common Pleas, Judge Richard Hodgson, has the power to assign a temporary replacement.

However, Joe has a history of making his own rules. Give Kerns credit for helping him make up his mind.

It's a shame Joe needs to be reminded of his responsibilities to the tax payers he should be serving.

Can You Hear Us Now??

page13news was amongst the crowd in Washington, D.C. yesterday as citizens from across the country took back Washington, for a day.

As you can see, there were plenty of reasons we gathered. It wasn't just about healthcare...

...it's about corruption, incompetence, and the hostile takeover of our constitution.

Dan Cirucci also has a story "Worth a Million Words".

We can only Hope the 9-12-09 March on Washington, is the beginning of a national awakening.

Abington Free Speech in Peril?

A prior post here summarized the hostile government takeover of private property in the Roslyn section of Abington Township.

Commissioners from both sides of the aisle approved the takeover and the owners have filed suit to stop them.

In a side story of sorts, Dr. Bob Sklaroff and Bob Guzzardi, esq. have filed their own suit against the township regarding their free speech being squelched on the issue. Abington's solicitor had recommended the board not hear these two gentlemen's problems with the hostile takeover because, as you will see below, the issue is currently being litigated in court.

While neither Bob mentions the hostile takeover aspect of this story, it is interesting to hear why they have issues with the planned use of the property and why it is they feel their first amendment rights are being trampled on.

'This is My Town Hall Meeting'

Sunshine, the best disinfectant.

...well said Congressman. You pompous fool.

He reminds us that it was Democrats, so eager to sell their healthcare overhaul, who called for these town hall meetings.

This was NOT the GOP, or talk radio orchestrating the protests; it was everyday people simply showing up when their "leaders" invited them.

Whoop-de-do, Van Jones Resigns

...he was never vetted by the FBI or Congress in the first place.

The problem with Jones - the White House was giddy about recruiting this self-avowed Communist, racist, and 9/11-was-an-inside-job conspiracy nut job.

Will Van Jones, now that he has resigned, fade into obscurity? Not at all. He'll simply take his "fundamental remake of the US economy" back to the organization he founded a few years ago.

That group, called STORM (Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement), is hell-bent on destroying the current US economic structure. Attempts to remove the organization's manifesto after the group's intentions came to light have been thwarted and can be found here. It's a scary read.

So while yet another Obama appointment has gone up in flames, don't think for a second it's the end of radical changes looming on the horizon.
