Mandate '08: Reagan vs FDR

Back to a more traditional comparison of the 2008 election. The San Fransisco Chronicle has a good article regarding the real issues behind Tuesday's election.

Would you rather Ronald Reagan or Franklin Roosevelt?

Not that John is anywhere close to Reagan in ideology or ability to sell the message. But compared to Obama, Mac is the free-market, non-socialist candidate.

Obama however, is much more a Marxist than FDR ever would have allowed himself to be. Remember, Roosevelt was at least willing to admit that his fix for the only real depression the US ever had, was intended to be short-lived.
