International Anti-Corruption Day

...another reason why Jonah Goldberg rocks!

In related news, the FBI and the Chicago Tribune celebrated the UN holiday in Illinois yesterday.

Barack Obama was, of course, cleared of any association. The local media, like good puppets of propaganda, made sure to regurgitate that fact.

But Obama advisor David Axelrod disagrees, and the puppets fail to report.

Is this anyway to celebrate a holiday?

As you say in your post here, it is easy to turn the news if you only report part of it. And, you have only reported part. Obama said "I had no contact with the governor or his office, and so I was not aware of what was happening" concerning any possible DEALING about Blagojevich's appointment of a successor." He said he knew nothing about the "dealing" he was trying to do. On a separate note, Axelrod said that he discussed a possible list of names with the governor. Both of those can be true, and not subversive as you are implying. It would be perfectly natural to discuss a list of names with the person being replaced. Obama did not know that the Governor was trying to make money off of replacing him in his Senate sear.

If you listen close to what Obama said...

"...and so we, uh I, was not aware of what was happening"

You left out the "we" part of the statement, since you were quoting, I thought it might be appropriate to reference that.

Slip of the tongue or proof he had full knowledge as to who was talking to whom?

Don't parse words and try to convince me Obama was clueless as to what was happening.
