Rupert Murdoch, founder of the 'fair and balanced' Fox News channel was quoted by several media outlets saying he thinks Barack Obama will win in a landslide.
Slightly less reported was this Wall Street Journal article where Murdoch shares his opinion of Keith Olbermann. Asked whether he would consider hiring MSNBC's prime time host to bring more balance to Fox News, Rupert said,
"No, I fired him five years ago… He’s crazy."
There was one other worthy quote from this piece. It reveals Murdoch's opinion of domestic oil drilling and U.S. energy policy, where he states,
"We didn’t buy Alaska to save a couple of elk"
You know, some people out there DO get it.
