Missing BIG News

Courtesy of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette - The Democrat State Office of "Legislative" Research was searched by state officials last Thursday in an on-going investigation into charges that state employees were used to run campaigns. Additionally (from the Beaver County Times and Allegheny Times - online), former state representative Mike Veon (D-Beaver Falls) is being investigated for his involvement with a nonprofit organization called BIG (Beaver Initiative for Growth) he started and state money the group received.

Two questions I have...

1. Why can't I find this news from last week anywhere in the local news outlets search engines? If you find the magical combo of search terms, please let me know.

2. Will Joe Hoeffel mention the Harrisburg investigations when he tries to draw parallels between Norristown and Washington? Will he dare to draw parallels between his friends in the legislature and Democrat William Jefferson from Louisiana?

Look!! I'm sure if you do some investigating, you could find shady business on the Republican side. This is nothing new...I will agree that Republican nonsense is reported more than Democratic nonsense. But there are plenty of sources, like your dumpy site, that will bring this to light.

No, we Republicans are pure as the wind driven snow! We always tell the truth, never lie or cheat, and always know exactly where our feet belong in Minnesota airport bathroom stalls! Of course there are shady characters on all sides.

However, this dumpy site, Limbaugh, and the rest of the - as Howard Eskin likes to call it - "Right wing propaganda machine" exist precisely because television, print, and radio news outlets have given up on the concept of fair, balanced, fact-laden, reporting.

If the Montgomery County Democrats weren't trying to draw bogus parallels between Norristown and what goes on in Washington, I wouldn't be ranting about their hypocricy.

Does anybody really listen to their representatives? Every word out their their mouth is a lie or a dance around the truth.

I think you need to be doing some research about how our monetary system works (ban the Federal Reserve which is neither Federal nor a Reserve) and not about this Red State, Blue State, Dead State, Zoo State nonsense.

I have some good recommendations for your links.

www.fredoneverything.com (a no nonsense tough-guy approach, you'll like it I promise)

www.lewrockwell.com (anti-state, anti-socialist, pro-market)

pcapostate.blogspot.com This site is hardcore ANTI-politically correct.

If you don't want to do some serious thinking and just want to be one of those "I'm a republican and I'm so f***ing great" then just keep parroting the mainstream media schmucks. There is really no difference between CNN and FOX.

All of the media is owned by only five corporations so if we keep watching that crap, we do the left-right dance while we all get the shaft.
