SCOTUS Denies Writ Decision, For Now

The Supreme Court has denied Philip Berg's request for a decision on the Writ of Certiorari BEFORE judgment from the 3rd circuit court of appeals is rendered.

All this means is that a lower court remedy is still possible. If the third circuit denies Berg's request, then he may re-apply to the SCOTUS.

The Supreme Court could also put a hold on the proceedings to administer the oath of office, but I doubt they would be so proactive and rather let the process work in the courts.

Berg issued a press release on his site obamacrimes.com. The statement includes Berg's reasons why he continues to pursue this option,

“Obama is setting himself up to be blackmailed and perhaps he is already being blackmailed. He was the candidate for ‘change,’ but look at his cabinet – 70% from President Clinton’s days and how about his Secretary of Defense, Gates. Give me a break!

There is nothing more important than ‘our’ U.S. Constitution and we will fight on!”

We, the Almighty and Powerful Supreme Court, sworn to uphold the Constitution, have decided only certain portions of that old, worn out document actually have relevance and are worthy to be discussed.

They have refused to hear the case of Leo Donofrio, which contends that Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father maintained a Kenyan citizenship at the time of his birth. The lawsuit charged the New Jersey Secretary of State should not have allowed Obama on the ballot because the "natural born" citizenship status had yet to be verified.

There's still Philip Berg's case, which contends that not only has Obama not proven he is a natural born citizen, but that even if he was, that citizenship was renounced when his step-father enrolled him in an Indonesian school. At the time, the school only allowed citizens to attend.

You may recall page13news sharing this video regarding Philip Berg's case against Barack Obama and the legitimacy of his candidacy for president based on the fact that Obama has yet to prove he is a natural-born citizen of the United States - which is required by the constitution.

The case has been appealed to the Supreme Court and Justice Souter, though not calling for Obama to produce the proof yet, has told him to respond to the charge. The docket (08-570) has been filed and Obama must respond by December 1st.

On Friday, the judge in the case, R. Barclay Surrick , dismissed the suit. I suppose a little thing like the constitution doesn't matter to the (uh hem) Honorable Surrick any more.

Next step is for Philip Berg to appeal.
